After You Fucked Her
Portrait of Rhiannon
Rhiannon’s kind of this character I created that occasionally features in my work.
I can’t really describe what she represents but I guess she’s the cool new girl in the neighbourhood with not many friends but she’s okay with that because she goes to the comic book store and is a demon and has powers and all that.

photographs and writing created simultaneously during the end of a codependent and abusive relationship. the words take on a nurturing voice that overcompensates for both the other partner in the dynamic and the reader. the words are encouraging and gentle, hint at optimism and reassurance while the photographs show the danger in closeness
reality vs projection / companionship vs codependence / intimacy vs danger / manipulation vs confidence
everybody say “good dog”
